I acquired this 1941 WR in Michigan in 2003. It was setup as a dirt track race bike with a mix match of various year parts. I searched for correct parts and restored the bike to exact factory specs of an early 1941 model. Aside from the facory racing engine, sheetmetal etc... Notice parts such as early 1941 frame and forks, brake lever perch, clutch arm, early WR heads and cylinders, pre-MR carb (M25s), Edison-Splitdorf magneto, early racing handlebars etc... The color is correct 1941-1942 only Cruiser Green. Factory records indicate 36 WR bikes built in 1941. I race this bike on a regular basis at vintage and historical races. Eric MATHIEU
